I love my Veo Stingray webcam and I would hate to give it up just cause I upgraded to Vista and now it won't work cause the drivers is not compatible with Vista. If someone out there that is a driver programmer, please make one for the Veo Stingray 330v and also don't anyone know where the heck I can get the Studio software?

you have 2 questions and comments but heres the link for drivers
creative labs should have the 64 bit drivers on their website if not your hooped Creative Worldwide Support as far as business vista nobody in the corporate world gives a rip about sound as its a work machine not a toy most dont even have sound capability in the business environment and for ultimate you can uise the drivers from their site curious why you went 64 bit as 97% of all programs are 32 bit and will run it as a 32 bit so now your system will be slow and generally not compatible....your 5 years min a head of the curve if you went linux /unixor solaris i can see going 64bit as all the software is 64bit ready just recompile it and your golden not so with Microsoft... oh well good luck with it |

So, I have this Samsung YH 820 MC MP3 player. I have loaded music onto it with my Vista laptop. It is not showing up on my MP3 player. So I went back to my old computer with XP Windows, and it is now saying that I have an outdated version of the devices software and it is incompatible. Samsung's website doesnt offer a Vista driver download. Also, googling- I tried the first search result about a driver download and all it gives me is a few files that are worthless. I tried to "format" it. Which deleted all of my old music. Now, it wont let me do anything because I need to use the utility repair. WHICH_ doesnt recognize my device as being there. I downloaded Napstar as Samsung says I need to do inorder to repair. BUT- I have to pay to subscribe. It wont let me load music to it (drag it into the library from my WIndows Media library)...so basically- I feel screwed having this MP3 player. I spent much time looking for one I liked (this was in 2005...and now it is incompatible!Any help?

Actually I'm surprised you could install it at all if for no other reason than the size of your hard drive.
I'm not sure if you can get the drivers you seek for this problem but in the event you can I believe you'll be faced with many other compatibility issues & in the end will have to give up Vista on your current system. I'm saying that because I too tried installing Vista on an older, only 4 years old with 2.5ghz, 1gb memory & 160gb hard drive & it simply would not operate correctly. If you do somehow get it working please do let us know how you managed it. Don, Toronto |

whats the point. its going to be so slow, but i guess u knew that going in. how did u trick the installation to read more RAM, because if u dont have at least 512MB of Ram it wont even install.
if its an intergrated card, then whats the name of the board, and model number. |

I have WMP 11 which came preinstalled with vista home premium 32bit.
I need WMP 10 because my mp3 player is not fully functional without it. no album art or pictures can be viewed but more importantly I cannot upgrade firmware needed to resolve some issues with hang ups and such. before purchasing my mp3 player I called the manufactures customer service and asked if any vista drivers were planned for the player I had in mind. I was naive to think that I would be given an honest answer & was told yes, so I bought the player. I have since rescanned the manufactures Q&A page and officially found out that they were in fact, NOT, planning any vista drivers for my player. I came across a hack, BUT, it will not work with home premium. I asked a simular ? earlier today and was told that in XP one can roll back to a previous version. CAN THIS BE DONE WITH VISTA? |
