In the last month my pc has came came up with a blue screen twice but it goes away to fast for me to read it and then shut down the pc. I was not doing any thing the first time it happened but the second time I was in My Documents. I think it may be something to do with the Geforce 8800GT I got for my pc BUT I forgot to UNISTALL the previous drivers for my old graphics card the geforce 7200 GS. IS THERE A FAULT WITH MY 8800 or is it because i have not unistalled the previous driver.
I have a 450 W power supply but I how do not know how to find out the amps or volt rail. Thanks for all the help so far I have a 450 W power supply but I how do not know how to find out the amps or volt rail. Thanks for all the help so far |

If i was you i would get a mac... You may think they suck. I did when i had Microsoft but they don't they are really good. but they may not be right for you. Just my opinion. You could also get a mac with parallels so that you can switch from mac and windows with out rebooting!
not sure about deals but i think you get a free 8 GB ipod touch if you get a mac. |

Ive been wondering, whether i should buy a new graphics card, because i have been having this problem for about a year with overheating issues. Im not ssure what to do, but ill give you some of the solutions i have tried and its failed:
Taking off computer side case Cleaning out dust from gfx card and main fan Blowing house fan into gfx card Using rivatuner to turn up gfx card fan speed Turned gfx down low in intensive gaming Turned down resolution to minimum Turned gfx fan speed to 100% My computer, even in desktop, and idle it gets small artifacts. During gameplay for some of these types of games (FEAR, TIMESHIFT, RAINBOW SIX VEGAS 2) i get shooting polygons out of characters and environments. I also get weird patterns from lighting in FEAR and coloured cubes on the screen also (Dark messiah especially, and also farcry) Does this sound like a gfx card on its last legs, should i get a new gfx card, or can i still save this one? |

If you need a cheap laptop, or the so-called UMPC, I would recommend
MSI Wind, U100, around AUD 700. •ID / colour - Black •LCD - 10"W (1024*600) LED •Chipset - 945GMS+ ICH7-M •Webcam - 1.3M •CPU - Intel 1.6G Atom processor •Memory - 1G (on Board) •HDD - 80G •WLAN - 802.11b/g •Bluetooth - v2.0 •OS - Windows XP Home •Battery - 3 cells •Carry Bag - Protective bag •Warranty - 2 years Not a game machine, but it is good enough for normal daily work and internet'ing. |

I spent over $400 on this card. The graphics are awesome. I would like to find awesome screen savers that demand such a powerful video card. I have a 37 inch LCD HD Monitor. There are lots of free screen savers out there, but they are full of viruses and malware. I don't mind paying for a screen saver... especially a 3D screen saver. Thanks.
I spent over $400 because I bought it the day it was released. |
