I accidently ordered the wrong one. I play world of warcraft and i ordered a laptop with an integrated graphics card. It hasn't come in the mail yet.. Theres another model EXACTLY alike except it has a different graphics card.. That's the one i meant to order. =/ I emailed Bestbuy and it will be a couple of days til i get a response. I'm just worried that i will be stuck with a laptop that can't do what i want it to do. Do you think they would let me return the laptop and buy what i want? Or trade it for the other laptop maybe? Or am i just stuck? I mean it hasn't even come in the mail yet! It's NEW.

I know over clocking can potentially lower the life time of your graphics card but I didn't know this was as crappy as it is when I bought it. Sure its better than 40 MB but its still not enough. So thats why I ask what are the safe frequencies for me to overclock it. It usually runs at 61 degrees C. Its default frequencies are 280 mhz core, 400 mhz memory. And it dosent have a fan but I took a fan out of my old PS2 Air flow controller and I can hook it up with USB for additional cooling but that may not be enough.

I don't have much money, and so have always bought second-hand, and put up with lagging 4-5 years behind in PC technology (the PC I use at the moment is 1.6 GHz, that a bought 18 months ago on ebay for £50). Now I'd like to upgrade again because I'd like to play some newer games (splinter cell 1 runs fine on my PC, as does Star Wars lego, but the new Indiana Jones lego is very sluggish, and Second Life is almost unusable).

The actual spec for my PC is Pentium 4 1.6GHz, 1Gb RAM, NVidia 6200 graphics card (I upgraded the RAM and graphics card myself). Is there anything I can get for under £100 on ebay, that would be a worthwhile upgrade (or better just to stick with what I've got a while longer)? I wouldn't need mouse/monitor/keyboard of course, but would like a pukker version of Windows installed on it (unlike what I've got at the moment :-(

I run on a Compaq Presario SR5152NX and I just installed a new graphics card Saturday night, to make it run smoother I want to increase my RAM, but I don't know how many sticks of RAM I can install. Is there somewhere on my computer I can look up and see how expandable my RAM is? I believe I can install another 2GB, but I don't want to put out that money only to find I can only upgrade 1GB

I'm building a new computer and have been stuck between the HD 4850 or the 9800GTX. These cards run about the same price and I have heard good things about both. Which should I go with for a 15" 1028x768 (getting a new higher res. one soon). I'll be playing games like Crysis and World in Conflict. Other specs are Q6600, GA-EP35-DS3L (has PCI-E x16 1.0 @x16), 500GB 7200rpm WD, 2x 1GB G.Skill 800 RAM, Rosewill Conqourer Case with Rosewill Stallion 600W.

Please Help
I picked out these parts so that all I'll have to do is buy a better Motherboard later on to be able to do a substancial upgrade. (SLI or CF)
