Just one more question, can this computer also burn CD's?
I am not trying to show off, I might be buying a new computer with those specifications.
And Yes I would be playing games but nothing big, I going to see if I could run the SIms 2 since my old can't.

yeah that's a really good computer, the processor isn't quite on par with the rest of the system but it's still fast enough to run most things. Yes it can burn CDs

Yes, it can burn discs: "# SuperMulti DVD Burner with LightScribe Technology: 16x DVD±R, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW, 8x DVD+R DL, 8x DVD-R DL, 12x DVD-RAM, 16x DVD-ROM, 40x CDR, 32x CDRW, 40x CD-ROM" (note the CD part).

Holy, man. You got 5 GB of RAM. Yes, that is a VERY good computer, that is, as long as it's running Linux xD.

its a very good computer, but for what your are doing with it, could be overkill- Do you play games on your PC? if so, then I would recommend something like this, but if not, I would at least go with less processor and less video card and less ram

Also, not a big fan of Vista- may do your research on it before you get it loaded with Vista.

40x CDR, 32x CDRW, 40x CD-ROM - Yes those specs will tell you it burns CDs. It also burns DVDs

It seems good to me. The only thing is the ram is a little low. Im going to assume that your going to use this for gaming if that is true your going to need at least one more stick of 512.
As for burning cds you can do that and more with the "lightscribe" With lightscribe you can buy a certain type of disc and "scribe" and image/text right on the cd. There pretty cool.
Hope I helped

Never-mind I thought you said it only had 512 ram. LOL Yah your good.
